Refund & Cancellation Policy

Senduta provides digital document-delivery services. This policy explains when fees are refundable and how cancellations work. It is issued in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable RBI / Razorpay payment guidelines.

1. What You Are Paying For

Senduta is billed on the number of deliveries, not storage. Paid offerings are:

  • Plans (Starter, Professional, Business), one-time payments that activate a delivery quota and features for a fixed period (30 days monthly, or 365 days yearly).
  • Delivery top-up packs, one-time purchases of additional deliveries that do not expire.

A "delivery" is consumed when you send a document to a recipient. Each recipient in a multi-recipient send counts as one delivery.

2. No Auto-Renewal, Nothing to Cancel

All Senduta purchases are one-time payments. We do not store your card or auto-renew any plan. When a plan period ends, your account simply reverts to no active plan until you choose to purchase again. There is no recurring subscription to cancel and no cancellation fee.

The 7-day free trial requires no payment and no cancellation, it ends automatically.

3. Refund Eligibility

Because deliveries are a digital service consumed on use, fees are generally non-refundable once deliveries have been used. However, we will issue a refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge, you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged in error. Fully refundable.
  • Payment captured but plan not activated, a technical failure on our side took your money without granting the plan or credits. Fully refundable (or we activate the plan, your choice).
  • Unused purchase within 7 days, if you bought a plan or top-up pack and have not used any deliveries from it, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • Service unavailability, a sustained, documented inability to use the Service caused solely by Senduta.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Deliveries that have already been sent (the service was rendered).
  • Plans or packs that are partially used, once any delivery from a purchase is consumed, that purchase is non-refundable.
  • Change of mind after deliveries have been used.
  • Issues caused by incorrect recipient details, a recipient not downloading, or the file being auto-deleted 24 hours after download per our retention policy.

Unused top-up deliveries never expire, so you can use them later instead of requesting a refund.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from your registered email address with:

  • Your registered account email
  • The Razorpay Payment ID or order reference
  • The reason for the refund request

We acknowledge requests within 24 hours and decide within 5 business days.

6. Refund Method & Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay. Once initiated, the amount typically reflects in your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any applicable GST charged on the original transaction is refunded proportionately.

7. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are exclusive of applicable GST, charged at the prevailing rate. A GST-compliant invoice is available on request. Payment processing complies with the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 and applicable RBI guidelines.
